TG10 – Climate change and forest disturbance

TG Leader: Rupert Seidl

Description: The aim of this task group is to conduct a comprehensive review of the climate change impacts on forest disturbance regimes, addressing both direct and indirect effects and a variety of different disturbance agents, such as wind, wildfire, and insect pests. The review will contribute to assessing the robustness of climate change projections by contrasting the expected or hypothesized impacts of climate change with the ability to address disturbances in simulation modeling.

Participation: If you are interested in participating in the task group, please contact the task group coordinator directly. If you are interested in the working group in general, please contact the working group leaders.
